Hello Owen,
I have got the suitable gear box from GAGG &SON.
But you have also to find :
024490 oïl distributor
030436 housing
023106 washer for cap
018958 oïl seal (Steve Surbey have the original one)
018990 flange for gear box.
The cable went from Norvil (as it is the same for 650 SS, ATLAS et c)
Good luck !

The original tacho drive gearbox for 1964 was NM24563 (BG 1508-05), also shared by the G15 and Norton 650/750 line of bikes. The gearbox is a reversing 1:1 gearbox. Considering the gear ratio, it needs to be mated to a 2:1 tachometer magneto head.
As the wire and and tacho gearbox are prone to wear at this rotational speed, fitment of a 2:1 reversing tacho gearbox (BG 1508-06) as used for the Norton Commando is suggested. It willl require a 4:1 tachometer magneto head to be used.
These tacho gearboxes can be found with Andover Norton or RGM.
