My Harris G80 blew either/both the battery and the regulator a while ago. I dont know which went first only that the battery went flat and then it blew the bulbs. I replaced the Battery , then found the regulator was faulty as well. The regulator was obsolete and I could only find a regulator off a CCM that fitted.
My problem is that the charging light has never worked . When I checked the loom it has been messed about a lot and only partly agrees with the official diagram. Everything now works except the charge light.
I am prepared to wire in the charge light separately if someone can tell me where it connects to. I assume that one side of the light should connect to the battery live and the other side to the regulator earth side
