Help needed! I developed a burnt valve and piston. Before this major problem I experienced oil consumption of 1 qt every 5 days for 5 months, are these things connected?

What do you expect if you run round with 3 surplus cylinders? Save oil - weld up a cylinder/day until problem is resolved.
