Hi All
I'm trying to locate my dads old 1955 AJS 350 trials 16MC, registration VKT138. He's 76 this year and is suffering from ill health, it was his first ever bike in a long biking career so I would love to locate it if possible. I know he would be interested to find out where it is and where it's been over the last 60 years.
Kind regards
Colin

Looks like the bike is on a SORN somewhere, if it was not still registered it would come up as no records held.

Hi, Colin,
I know it's a long time since you posted your search for VKT138, but I have just found a photo of my dad riding the same bike in a trial back in February 1956. My dad is not around anymore so I can't ask him about it. I typed in a Google search to do exactly what you did, so to see your post was very interesting. I have tried to attach the photo but failed. I don't know where your dad bought the bike, but it's quite possible that it came from Arter Brothers. My dad got all of his bikes through them. I hope you didn't mind me contacting you with this.
Best regards,
Gerald.
