Say "hello" to 'Alice'
My basket case rebuild project is just about completed. In February 2017 I bought a a Jeep load of boxes that purportedly contained most of a 1954 Matchless G3/LS that had been dismantled 30 years ago. A lot of stuff was missing and a lot of what was there was too far gone to be usable but I stuck with it and 'Alice' is the result. She's mostly '54 G3/LS with a smattering of '60 AJS M18 bits thrown in and some Indian tinware added to the mix for good measure. Indicators are a modern addition, of course. Not one for the 'rivet counters' or 'purists', I'm afraid but she was built to be ridden, not stuck in a museum. I now have to apply for an age related registration. Hope you like her....

Looks great and sure you'll have fun using Alice. Good to know for riding , keeps the demand for parts going for us all, polishers included.

Fantastic looking bike with some nice unique cosmetic touches like the cam box, for example. This is a bike I would really like to see in the "flesh". I am sure it rides well too; great job!
