Hi all
Am trying to set up a side float type carb on a bike but can’t get it to run off choke and it doesn’t run properly mainly spitting
Where the pilot screw goes in the body at the end of this I note on some other carbs there is a blanking plug but on this carb there is none .. does anyone know it the end of this drilling should be blanked off ?
Thanks
Andy

Re: Side float carb
why not try blanking it with a piece of cut down pencil rubber. If that sorts your running problem you will know what to do.moley wrote: ↑Sun Mar 27, 2022 11:57 am Hi all

Re: Side float carb
On the earlier type or pre monobloc carbs with the four vent holes around the base the drilling opposite the air screw is open, it is blocked on the later carbs.
