First Mid-Week Ride Out 2024

Will take place on EITHER Tues 23rd or Thurs 25th April (determined by weather forecast on coming Friday).

Will start from Shire Horse, Littlewick Green. Intending to depart 10:30, will stop for lunch somewhere, back mid-afternoon.

Next post will announce exact day and destination.

FYI there will be several more mid-week rides over the summer period as follows:

Tues 14th May (or Thurs 16th)
Tues 11th June (or Thurs 13th)
(nothing in July – due to other events)
Tues 13th Aug (or Thurs 15th)
Tues 24th Sep (or Thurs 16th)

I’ll go as long as one other person joins me. Destinations and venues TBD, but all will be planned for some form of lunch time stop.

First run will be meanders around South Oxfordshire / North West Berks. We will be stopping for light lunch / coffee / tea at the Chilton Garden Centre which has a café. Should be arriving there about 12:15 – 12:30. I will make the decision between Tuesday and Thursday based on Met Office forecast and post on Friday

Having both the BBC and Met Office weather forecasts for next week, Tuesday looks more reliable with <10% chance of rain whereas there is 30% chance of rain Thursday from lunchtime on.
