We're in New Zealand and we're restoring a
1960 G5 350cc Matchless Lightweight
and we would like to be able to do the tank in the original colour, which is red we believe (what is on there now but don't know if its the original colour). Is this correct as we've been told most Matchlesses had black tanks but have also been told that 1960 version had a red tank. Can anyone give us a colour number at all? Any help at all would be appreciated as we want this bike to be original. Any other web sites I can access for this type of info??
Thanks very much in advance for any help you may be able to offer us here in the colonies!
