I only just found this part of the forum (And I have been using it for over a year too !)
Well I had half promised Malcolm I would be there (at Helsby) this Wednesday (April 3rd). I do wish to attend, but want to do it on the bike. Yesterday was sunny but very cold, but by the time it got to "set off" time Gill said "you must be mad" as it was close to freezing. I had to agree and put the G12 back in the garage
It's got to be warmer by May, surely Hopefully see you there then
In the meantime, there is the Classic bike meet at the Raven Cafe in Whitchurch. I will post details in a separate thread in the newly found bit of the forum
Missed Wednesday again.

Well done Rex you got the name correct. Not sure now of Rays well being, last I heard he was suffering that memory loss complaint

Re: Missed Wednesday again.
Ray did walk across the road from his house to our venue last evening, his first attendance this year, and seemed to enjoy joining in with the rest of our mob.
We were entertained to an illustrated talk by the Cheshire Constabulary's Road Safety Ossifer, and very good it was, too, from a man with twenty-five years experience in 'Traffic'.
Four riders on bikes of the marque, plus one on a Hardly, and no one got wet, John!!

Ray Garnett, now there's a name from the past.
