Just a small query about my G80S -56: on top of the battery carrier there is a triangular shaped piece of metal with a hole in each corner. To this triangle another triangular piece of metal, built up of multi layers of sheet metal, is attached. What is it for? I bought this bike in boxes so confusion sets in every now and then!

I used to have one - racking my brains.
Was it the horn bracket?

Thanks, sounds right since in -56 the horn was no longer mounted on the primary chain case!
