what size is the G3 39/40 front brake lining/drum dia.

To my knowledge the G3 front hub is dimensionally identical to the later 1948 to '53 type; the only difference is in the finning of the brakedrum ring. Consequently postwar shoes should fit, but I haven't actually done this comparison.
