I've just bled the linked brake system on my 79 Benelli which are supposed to be horrendous to do, I used with a vacuum bleeder and it was no drama at all. I had to clean out and rebuild the whole system first so would thoroughly recommend refreshing of the brake fluid regularly.56G80S wrote:There are stories on the net about problems with getting the air out of these too.

Re: Rear Brake
The recall notice for the Cadwell and Tempest can be found here (week 51):
https://www.femamotorcycling.eu/consume ... m-recalls/
The affected vehicles were manufactured between 1 November 2016 and 1 November 2018.
Technical Description:
The rear brake master cylinder is defective. This can cause a
loss of braking when the rear brake is applied, increasing the
risk of an accident. This defect does not affect the front brake;
therefore the rider may not be aware of the loss of rear brake
pressure when the front and rear brakes are applied together.
