Hi
I'm in the process of building a wiring loom for my 65 G15CSR and am wondering where the rectifier was originally mounted. Assuming it was under the seat as per normal I have identified two possible sites:
A hole mid way across the channel between the rear frame upper rails
A hole at the top of the tool box storage compartment
Does anyone know what these holes were originally for?
Regards Mick

Re: Rectifier Location
This one - I guess it could be a mounting hole for a different model:

Re: Rectifier Location
I have a G15 CSR 1965 and have had it since 1966. The hole in the toolbox is where my rectifier is situated. Hope this helps.

Re: Rectifier Location
I stuck my solid state regulator rectifier out in the breeze fixed to the rear loop cross member.
