Hello to all you AMC enthusiasts,
I'm new member and I wanted to put out the word that I'm looking for a 1955 AJS Model 18S which my father purchased from new. He registered it as MFW 574 and I know from the DVLA that it's still out there somewhere with it's original registration number but where?
If anyone has any leads I'd love to hear from them. I have photos of the bike from new.
My father loved that AJS and often spoke of it and the experiences he shared with my mother riding pillion, trips to the coast, Cadwell Park etc.
I'd love to make contact with the current owner and see that machine for real.
Thanks in advance for any forthcoming information.
Cheers Keith Cook
