Tony Cooper in Halesowen, West Midlands is highly recommended for the rebuilding of magnetos (and dynamos).
Restored my Lucas N1 to as new condition for a sensible price with a ten day turn around.
He has literally hundreds of magnetos in stock as well.

+2 for Tony Cooper. He did my K2F mag and E3L dynamo about 4 years ago. Still both running perfectly.

Is Tony Cooper still in business? I saw another thread on the Forum, from 2022, saying he has retired and sold the business.
If he's no longer trading who else is recommended?

He restored a magneto for me a couple of months ago and was still very busy with his business and bike collection.
You may be confusing him with Dave Lindley who advertised on the font page of OBM for many years. He has retired and moved from Leominster to the Isle of Man

Thanks for the confirmation poplargreg, good to know, I will contact him.

It was this post I read that led to the confusion:

EDIT - Alpha Bearings told me today that Tony Cooper has retired and sold the business. Forgotten who to but apparently they will just be selling of stock not taking on new work. This in the last couple of weeks or so. - JB
