Model 26 rear stand

Post by Mikedearing »

None of my bikes have rear stands.. the club had g3 ones for sale .. would these fit the model 26 ?? There was one on sale @ Kempton last weekend and it had had curved arms on it (nothing like a G3...

I could even make one of I can find a definitive example :-)

Thank you mike

Hi Mike, if your model 26 is 1938 on and you have the mounting lugs on the rear sub frame, the rear stand is listed as 38-G3-F44 this part number is also listed in 1946 and is on the part number conversion list as becoming 017107 so I would say that the part did not change.
If you are just pre 1938 you will have had a centre stand.

Thanks for that I'll buy one from the club - it can always go on the G3 if it doesn't fit, I have no stands on any of them :-)
