Help needed please men, have searched around and haven’t found a definitive answer as to suitability of NGK BR6 and BR7ES spark plugs for my bike as local auto stores here don’t have the regular B6 or B7ES. I understand they are the resistor type but will that cause issues with the coil ignition system? Thanks

Think they should be quite OK, it's only really with magneto ignition that the R versions are best avoided. The presence of a resistor shouldn't affect coil ignition. NGK 6 and 7 are good numbers for most of our machines, broadly comparable to Champion N5C and N4C.

Great, thanks Bill. It’s a seventeen mile ride to the store, so I lived dangerously while in town food shopping and bought one of each on spec.

Deleted (I think!) duplicate post.
