Can anybody inform me of the correct end float on 1965 AJS model 18 crankshaft. I have checked in the manuals and can only find info on crank float for the (much) earlier engines and that is specified at minimum of 12 thou. If you are supposed to ship it to a certain size where do you put the shims - between the bearing and crank or between the bearings. Thanks in advance
